An internationally recognised photographer, Sean Scott is known for his talent when it comes to capturing Australia. A born storyteller, Sean is an ambassador for Tourism Australia, with a sound track-record for exploring Down Under on epic road trips.
Sean Scott is the bloke who takes photos that'll make you want to drop everything and explore Australia. Starting out 15 years ago with a basic camera while holidaying in Tasmania, he sparked an insatiable curiosity for capturing elusive moments in the natural world. Back then, Sean would hit up the Gold Coast markets to sell framed photos he'd taken himself. They weren't just snaps; they were pieces of art that caught the eye and turned heads. Fast forward to today, and he's got his own gallery in Burleigh Heads where you can see everything he’s got to offer—from huge photo prints to small fine art canvas works and high-definition glass artwork.
As an official ambassador for Tourism Australia, Sean's been entrusted with the responsibility of unveiling Australia's hidden treasures through his lens. His endless road trips have seen him crisscrossing the country, amassing an impressive portfolio that showcases Australia's varied landscapes and seascapes. His work is proudly displayed in the homes—and hearts—of many Australians.
Oh, and did we mention he's also a keen surfer? Sean's respect for the ocean goes beyond just getting the perfect shot. He’s out there, in the water, experiencing its power and beauty firsthand.
Teaming up with Sean for an Airguides trip isn't your typical touristy excursion. It's more like going on an epic adventure, a real deep dive into what makes Australia magical. Through Sean's lens, Australia isn't just a destination; it's an adventure waiting to be lived.

“Always be out there. You can’t be in the right place at the right time to get that amazing photo unless you are out there looking for it.”
"My photographic mission is to inspire people to open their eyes to the magical places in which we live. It’s very rewarding being able to share with people the way I see things. It seems just by getting out and keeping an open mind unique and beautiful images are everywhere. I find it's the search that helps open your eyes to what is all around."
