Join us for an exclusive expedition into the wild heart of Patagonia, led by multi award-winning photographer Martin Gregus. This all-inclusive journey takes you deep into a private reserve at Laguna Amarga in Torres del Paine, where you’ll experience the thrill of tracking elusive pumas in their natural habitat.
Limited to an intimate group of just 8 guests, this expedition ensures a highly personalized and immersive experience. Secure your place today for an unforgettable journey through the rugged beauty and untamed spirit of Patagonia.
Our adventure begins in Puerto Natales, Chile, with a welcome dinner hosted by Martin, the perfect opportunity to meet your fellow travelers and share the excitement of the journey ahead. From there, we travel by private car to our full-board accommodation in Torres del Paine. Here, you’ll settle into your home away from home as Martin shares captivating stories from his time photographing Patagonia’s remarkable wildlife.
Over 10 extraordinary days, you’ll explore the breathtaking peaks and valleys of Torres del Paine while focusing on the often-misunderstood majesty of the puma. Through the lens of photography, this journey invites you to see and understand these magnificent creatures in a new light.
Participants will gain hands-on experience in wildlife and nature photography, including field techniques and photo editing sessions led by Martin Gregus. The expedition also features a series of masterclasses and discussions with Martin and your Expedition Leader, offering valuable insight into capturing the essence of Patagonia’s raw and untamed beauty.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from a true master of his craft, combining expert guidance, close wildlife encounters, and one of the world’s most awe-inspiring landscapes.
Born and raised in Bratislava, Slovakia, Martin Gregus is an internationally awarded wildlife photographer and cinematographer. His passion for travel and photography began at the age of 8, growing up in a household full of artists. He learned the craft from his father – also a photographer – before venturing out to document local wildlife on his own. Martin first traveled around the world through the hundreds of National Geographic magazines in his home, sparking a lifelong fascination with far-flung landscapes and wildlife.
Now after 19 years, Martin has journeyed to all seven continents, visiting dozens of countries and some of the planet’s most unique ecosystems. His images have received numerous accolades, including two wins and two nominations at the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition in London, UK.
Currently based in Canada, Martin has worked extensively across the Americas and the South Pacific. However, it is his expertise in the Arctic and Antarctica that has earned him worldwide recognition. Notably, his project “33 Days Among the Bears,” documenting polar bears, became an international sensation following coverage in National Geographic in 2022. Since then, Martin has continued exploring polar regions, contributing to cinematic projects for Disney, BBC, and Netflix.

“Thanking the stars I found Airguides and Jono Allen's trip. We were totally taken care of! Paul answered all our questions and took care of the details so all we had to do was get there. Jono is an amazing, talented photographer who created a special group experience. The WHALES were mind blowing. What a gift to be in Tonga staring into the eye of a baby whale! This trip was a lifelong dream come true. I highly recommend it so much we’ve already signed up again for next year!"

"The Airguides trip to Tonga to swim with humpback whales was the experience of a lifetime. I have traveled all over the world, and nothing compares to being in the wild, rustic, deep blue waters of the South Pacific while interacting with whales and their calves. A wonderful and caring team made our adventures stress free. Absolutely amazing, so much so, that I am doing it again this year! Thanks a million Paul, Jono, Al, Alistair, Christian and Polly!"
